    • Buckwheat1 says:

Good morning Lillian. The following rates would apply when shipping via USPS. 10# hulls ($15.30), 10# seeds ($15.10), 2# hulls ($9.75) and 2# seeds ($9.75). These are all calculated with 2 day priority rate shipping. If you continue to experience problems online, please call 919.467.1973. I can process an order over the phone, accepting payment with a Visa, MC, or Discover card. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Emily Vanderploeg says:

Hello, would you say your buckwheat hulls are organic? Are they 3D? Or flattened after cleaning? And would you sell a small quantity or sample size so that I can see the quality of your hulls?

    Thank you

    • Buckwheat1 says:

      Hello Emily.
The buckwheat hulls we sell are not “certified organic” due to the fact that the grower we purchase from also grows other adjacent crops that may or may not have chemicals used on them. The buckwheat is an easy to grow, naturally pest resistant crop which requires no pesticide. The hulls are 3 dimensional, not flattened. I would be happy to send a sample to the Orlando address you registered with. Please let me know if that is where you would prefer the sample to be sent. Thank you for your interest.

Hello I was wanting to order buckwheat hulls. I was wanting to make a 16(L)x10(w)x6(h) pillow to place under my thighs.how many pounds would I need to make a sturdy pillow and what would be the shipping cost to texas. Thanks

    • Buckwheat1 says:

Hello Latricia, Thank you for your interest in our product. I would estimate 10# of hulls for that size pillow, depending on the level of firmness you are interested in. Shipping to your address in Katy is $15.54 for that size. Thank you.

Want to order but the shipping cost makes it impossible. Since I live about 2 hrs east of Cary, perhaps you have a local distributor where I can pick up my order. Never get to Cary during the week, are you open Sat?

    • Buckwheat1 says:

We are not open on Saturdays, but give me a call on Monday and we can see what arrangements can be made for a pickup of buckwheat. The number at Life Experiences is 919.467.1973. You can reach me between 8:30 and 4:30. Thanks! Lynn
